BBC Radio 3's "Jazz on 3" focused last night on guitar+drum duos. The main dish was a pretty good Charlie Hunter set, but the real delight is an impromptu set by John McLaughlin and Billy Cobham, playing Mahavishnu Orchestra material at last year's Montreux Jazz Festival. Oh, and Charlie Hunter brought along a great Joseph Spence tune to share (ditto a Blind Blake blues).

nice! thanks man. I love Charlie Hunter and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Good way to get me through my afternoon at work.
